Hollace is an actress and a playwright. She is a professor of drama and film at Antelope Valley College. Hollace graduated cum laude from U.C.L.A. and continued on to earn her M.F.A. in acting in 1999. Hollace has written numerous children's plays, such as The Writer's Convention, which have been performed by Los Angeles area children ages 5 - 11. In 2000 Hollace performed her one person show My Dad Came Dressed as Marilyn Monroe at Trade City and Highways performance space. In 2001, she wrote and appeared in her play Recess.
